Catching People

We who have been called to believe are called to share that belief. The call and the ability to accomplish the call come together.

Today’s parable assures us that with our God there will always be enough love for everyone.

The stance of a disciple is to bow down before God and to be empty enough to let mercy in.

Everything in creation can show us God’s ways. This is true of the three rules of checkers.

Holiness is not being perfect. Holiness is claiming our weakness in the presence of God’s strength.

If we see the beauty of the people in our lives, we can push through excuses and become Christ’s servants.

God is always with us, even when the pain we must endure is of our own making.

When our faith is too weak, we need to depend upon the faith of others. This is why we have a faith community.

We must not look back at past mistakes or failures. Doing so will not only distract us, but possibly harm us.

If we can remember how patient God is with us, then maybe we can find the way to be patient with ourselves.

If love is the only road to God, it is only the humble who will walk upon it.

Light does not necessarily lead to faith. For all the brightness of the light, faith is never inevitable.
