Where Jesus Sleeps

Christ is always with us, asleep in our deepest selves.

The purpose of the Eucharist is to unite us with someone we love and remind us of the way he has loved us.

The Holy Spirit gives us the strength to face the trials that are to come.

Jesus ascends into heaven so that he can be with us always.

Love is the music that Jesus commands us to play.

God is pruning parts of our lives to prepare us for something new.

Jesus loves us from the inside, knowing who we are, understanding our every doubt, hope and fear.

Can you remember a time when you were lost or in need and Jesus made a difference?

The scars of Jesus give witness that pain is not wasted, and wounds can be overcome.

Easter does not promise we will always be joyful. It promises we will always have reason to hope.

We do not need better plans or more willpower. We need the new relationship which God will provide.

As we try to follow God’s commands, it is important to appreciate the prior gifts that God has given us.
